Routing the Parallel Groves

After using the original piece to set the fence on my table saw I ripped the 1/2" Aspen down to width. Then I chucked a 1/4" straight cutting bit into the router table and set the height of the bit and fence by using my example piece of track. Then it's simply a matter of running the stock through a cutting pass and a second finishing pass, then flipping it end for end to get the parallel grooves
